Jamie Adkins
Circus INcognitus

Saturday, January 16, 11 a.m.

An eclectic clown, juggler, balancing artist and 100 percent poet, Jamie Adkins brings to life the story of a man who has something to say, but can’t quite get it out. Circus INcognitus turns everyday objects into circus routines. We follow Jamie on his adventure as he musters the courage to try new ideas and pushes himself to find solutions to his problems because you never know what you can do until you try.

ScrapArtsMusic

Saturday, January 23, 11 a.m.

It’s been a few years, but ScrapArtsMusic is back on the Edison stage with its 21st century sound on 20th century salvage! Using instruments built from recycled and salvaged materials—like sewage pipe and artillery shells—they create high-energy “action percussion” with precise choreography.

PHILADANCO
Rosa

Saturday, February 20, 11 a.m.

Rosa is a vivid tribute to civil rights activist Rosa Parks, who refused to sit in the segregated back of the bus in Montgomery, Alabama, and is the centerpiece of an hour- long exploration of the works of this marvelous company. Six women of Philadanco perform this modern contemporary ballet that includes audience participation and discussion. This is a perfect way to celebrate Black History Month with your family.

Corbian Visual and
Performing Arts
Darwin

Saturday, May 8, 11 am

The unique and innovative theater experience uses electroluminescent wire that is manipulated by hand in a blackout setting to create crayon-like creatures that light up the stage with the heart-warming tale of a dinosaur discovering the true meaning of love.

During the glow-in-the-dark adventure, Darwin comes to life via puppetry, storytelling and dance while teaching lessons about the value of good and bad, love and hate, friends and enemies.
